On January 11 President Armen Sarkissian had a telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. 

During the conversation Tokayev reported on the situation in Kazakhstan and steps to restore constitutional order in the country.

President Sarkissian expressed hope that peace and stability will be finally restored in the near future. He also stressed Armenia’s readiness to further strengthen friendly relations with Kazakhstan.
