At an extraordinary session of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CSTO countries on January 13, the results of the operation of the peacekeeping forces in Kazakhstan were discussed, the CSTO press service reports.
“During the meeting, the defense ministers of the CSTO member states discussed the results of the peacekeeping operation in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the improvement of mechanisms for rapid response to threats.
After the meeting, a joint decision of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers was signed “on organizing the return of peacekeeping troops of the CSTO member states from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the statement reads.
