A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has started in the city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan, Turkish “Anadolu” news agency reports.
The meeting of the presidents takes place within the framework of the summit of the heads of states of the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization” (SCO).
The agenda of the meeting includes such questions as current global and regional issues, including the current situation in Ukraine, the implementation of the Ukrainian grain transportation deal, as well as the situation in Syria and the South Caucasus.
