On November 7, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a meeting in the US capital, Washington. The ministers were hosted at Blair House, where a joint meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was also held, RA MFA reports.
The foreign ministers exchanged views on the elements of a possible peace agreement and noted that there are a number of issues that still need to be addressed. The two sides reaffirmed the commitments made by the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan in the meetings held on October 6 in Prague and October 31 in Sochi.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed to give momentum to their negotiations and hold another meeting in the coming weeks.
The two ministers expressed their gratitude to the American side for hosting the peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
