The first trilateral meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kazakhstan took place in Baku. At the opening of the event, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about the importance of the trilateral meeting, stressed the importance of trilateral and regional cooperation, haqqin.az reports.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Bayramov said that within the framework of cooperation, it’s planned to expand the capabilities of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars corridor.
“We discussed the new realities that emerged after the “Armenian occupation” (quotes – ed.) “liberation of Azerbaijani territories” (quotes – ed.). The “Zangezur Corridor” (quotes – ed.) plays a special role in creating a route through the EU, Turkey and Asia,” Bayramov said.
As a result of the meeting the Baku Declaration was signed.
