The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov referred to the meeting held in the USA yesterday, November 7, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“At the initiative of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, I had a meeting with RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Washington. I reiterated Azerbaijan’s commitment and readiness for the soonest conclusion of the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace agreement, and urged to refrain from actions that would undermine the process,” Bayramov wrote.
It should be reminded that, according to the statement of the RA Foreign Ministry, at the tripartite meeting held on November 7, the parties agreed to give momentum to their negotiations and to hold another meeting in the coming weeks.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced before the meeting that Armenia and Azerbaijan are taking brave steps to achieve peace.
